Just in time for Season 5 of the hit Netflix series to drop this month, here’s our guide to planning your own “Emily in Paris” adventure and taking in some of the show’s most iconic filming locations in the City of Light. (Note: Season 5 takes Emily to Rome and Venice, so stay tuned for the Italian update when the season wraps.) Now put on a beret, grab a croissant, and prepare to be charmed.

Take a selfie at Emily’s apartment building
Located in the fashionable Latin Quarter, Place de L’Estrapade is a cute square on the Left Bank of Paris,
which has become a site of pilgrimage for “Emily in Paris” fans. Make this your first stop and get
there early before the crowds.

Have a meal in Gabriel’s restaurant
Across the square from Emily’s apartment is the iconic red awning of Terra Nera restaurant. Offering
delicious Italian food, this charming bistro is a must-see location where some truly romantic moments
between Emily and the dashing chef played out. (No guarantees the handsome chef will be there, though.)

Sit on the bench where Mindy and Emily first meet
In the stunning, manicured gardens of the historic Palais Royal are lines of park benches with a special detail—each one is engraved with a quote at the top. In Season 1 of “Emily in Paris,” our heroine meets her soon-to-be bestie Mindy on a bench with a French inscription that translates to “Today is when yesterday and tomorrow marry.

Take another selfie at Emily’s office
Emily leaves Chicago to work at the fictional Parisian marketing agency Savoir. The office’s filming location is just a stone’s throw from the Louvre in a charming courtyard called Place de Valois, right in the
center of Paris.

Explore scenic Montmartre and walk along the “prettiest street in Paris”
Mindy and Emily enjoy an evening walk through Montmartre and wander along Rue de L’Abreuvoir, a
cobblestone street lined with pastel-painted houses wreathed in foliage. Pop into the highly Instagrammable Maison Rose restaurant at the top of the street for a drink.

Season 5 of “Emily in Paris” debuts on Netflix on December 18, 2025.
