Spanning 28 countries, Small Luxury Hotels of the World has recently unveiled a new Private Collection – a curated selection of 76 private SLH villas and accommodations. This kicks-off with Salvatore Ferragamo’s newly opened Florentine countryside escape, Viesca Toscana, and the just-opened French beachside Château Le Nessay.
Additionally, the brand has added 13 hotels to its portfolio of boutique stays that includes three new properties in Mexico (Mérida, Tulum, Mexico City); three beachfront getaways (Langkawi, Malaysia; Fiji, Portugal); and two Mountain Resorts (Queenstown, New Zealand; Allgäu Mountains, Germany), and three architectural gems (Tura, Hungary; Singapore; Istanbul.)
SLH has strengthened its community of over 520 boutique hotels from the mountain peaks of New Zealand to the sandy shores of Portugal, and here are a handful of highlights worth the flight.
Private Collection
These 76 handpicked SLH villas span Japan, Thailand, Australia, Europe, Africa, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The Private Collection offers the privacy of a standalone villa with all of the perks and services of a boutique hotel. This lodging option usually results in longer stays and a slower pace of travel, particularly with the growing demands of travelers seeking group holidays, and multigenerational travel and the digital nomads.
Formerly the renowned Ferragamo family’s summer home, Viesca Toscana is a countryside estate including a rural 16th century manor house with 14 rooms and suites and a family cottage in the rolling hills of Tuscany. As part of SLH’s Private Collection, Viesca Toscana features classically decorated standalone villas with modern amenities and an oasis of private freshwater pools, gardens, and hand-crafted furnishings, complete with wellness offerings and authentic Italian cuisine created by Tuscan-born and bred chef Andrea Campani.
SLH Also Adds 11 More Boutique Hotels to its Portfolio
In addition to welcoming Viesca Toscana and Le Nessay to SLH and The Private Collection, SLH also reveals 11 other boutique hotels to its portfolio. Making its first foray into the ecological wonders of Langkawi, Malaysia, SLH also strengthens its presence in Mexico, across Europe and beyond with these new boutique hotel members.
